Chondrus crispus, Irish sea moss, is the structural half. Its D-galactose, 3,6-anhydro-D-galactose and galactose-6-sulfate backbone is the sulfated-polysaccharide chemistry of a red seaweed, and it carries the broad mineral profile that has made it a traditional food for connective tissue across the North Atlantic — eaten rather than dosed, which is the register this whole apothecary works in.
Eucommia ulmoides brings the elastic bark, with chlorogenic acid, quercetin and rutin, and its classical assignment to sinew and bone. Polygonum multiflorum contributes THSG, its signature stilbene glycoside, as the deep-reserve tonic. Across the three, our data records one shared measured target, PTPN1 — a protein tyrosine phosphatase central to insulin and growth signaling. One convergent target is a small number and worth stating as such: this blend was composed for complementary contribution, not for reinforcing overlap, and three plants that each do a different necessary thing is the intent rather than a shortfall.
